Bitearsweet

Wow, so much took place this weekend I don't know where to begin!! I decided to plan a little belated party for me Myungshin on Friday since our birthdays are only 2 days apart (Hyeonsuk's birthday is in between ours, but she had an exam to study for >_<) We met up at the LRT station at the University to go the Korean Village Restaurant for BBQ buffet. Boy was it good!!! I missed it so much!! I haven't had Korean BBQ since Korea! After eating lots, we decided to go for bubble tea as we waited for some other people to show up later... plus I didn't think that we'd be able to sing for so many hours straight! We played a monkey game at Dream Tea House and then it was off to 노래방!!! I just realized that alcohol and singing don't mix very well for me! Michi bought me a drink for my birthday (just a Bacardi Breezer) and I felt like I ws running out of breath everytime I sang! So tiring -____-;;; Never stayed at 노래방 for so long before! We stayed until about 1pm and I didn't get home and to bed until about 3am!!! But it was so much fun!!! Joa and I even did the "Gee" and "Nobody" dance haha! But we'll never be able to beat Jinah and Louise!

Yesterday was the full Sunday schedule again after 2 weeks and it was totally needed! Harman was in Vegas so Carlo subbed for our class. He lost his voice so he was basically whispering. He threw in an Australian accent for kicks and it was AWESOME!! haha! We ran through the dance a few times in Kerry's class cos the next competition is in 2 weeks. We found out in class that we actually tied for 2nd place at AE and we were actually only 0.5 of a mark away from 1st place!!! How crazy is that??? So yeah, we're splitting the 2nd place money with Ani-mazing, whom we tied with ^.^ Then in Jake's class we found out that from our marks, we actually got gold and not silver (we were actually FAR from silver) so Jake was pretty happy about that! But we knew we really needed to clean like mad so we went over the opening portion and cleaned formations. Omg, it looked SOOOOO GOOD!! Everything was perfect!!! I guess it really does make a difference to be in a class with instructors! Everyone's bodies were at the same angle, everyone moved at the same time, and the formations were amazing!! We should have cleaned earlier cos I'm sure we would have KILLED at AE. Oh wells, there's 2 more competitions!

Can't wait for Get Down 2009! I was only able to attend one class at the workshop last summer (Poppin' Pete's) and I TOTALLY wish I did the whole thing (I was supposed to be in Korea during that time ahem...) It was AMAZING! Poppin' Pete is SUCH a fantastic dancer. I was so happy when he came up to me before he left and said I did really well ^^! I mean, POPPIN' PETE said I did really well!!!! OMG!!! He's coming back this year with Suga Pop and Caleaf again... plus Link from MopTop Crew!!! It's going to be FANTASTIC!!
