Bitearsweet

Wow I haven't updated on my blog forever!! So my last 2 weeks at RC was quite difficult... I've never been so unmotivated and so sleepy at work haha! Everyone says it's because my "heart" isn't there anymore lol! They totally milked me dry before I left cos I ended up churning out 2 websites in 2 days. I practically keeled over! The last day they bought me a cake (awww! all thanks to Margaret ^^) and we talked a little bit before I left. I got a call from Uncle Wong mid-week this week and he told me that Brian was really shocked that I left and really misses me. He said it was weird for him to hear Brian say that cos he's never been so attached to a worker before! Well, he did treat me like his daughter when I was working there, although there were times I really had to work my ass off for nothing. But apparently Brian's really happy that I found a place to progress, so I'm glad that I was able to tie my ends off at RC in a good way ^^. Feel sorry for Margaret though... she was a little upset when I was leaving my last day and she said she's completely swamped now. Sorry Margaret!

So my first week just passed at CBS and it was friggin awesome! Although the PC hates me (probably cos it knows I'm a Mac girl haha!) and keeps shutting down or updating whenever it feels like, it's not too bad! Just goes to confirm my theory that Macs are way better... I've never had so many troubles with my Mac and this PC is brand new! I've been slowly learning how to actually build websites which is really cool! And everything is done online! I get my projects online, we do discussions online, log hours online... so handy and WAY updated from RC! Plus one section of the company is the electronic store called Qweego so I get to buy electronics for way cheaper than if I were to go to any electronic store out there! The prices are already cheaper than the market, plus I get an even MORE discount! Just wish they could do that for Macs and not just PC stuff lol!

Can't wait for next week and the things to come in the days forward! I hope I get my own office after the expansion in January! That would be UBER cool!! I think I'd fill my walls up with photos of my friends and family and maybe I'll put a small couch in there haha! Until then, I'll just keep dreaming!
