Possibly the biggest fear of mankind is the fear of not knowing. Not knowing what's going to happen, not knowing what we're doing, not knowing where we're going. It's scary when you take a step forward but what lies ahead is so new and uncertain, you start thinking that maybe you should play it safe and step backwards, back into the comfort zone you've known so well... even though you know that doing so is not a good decision. That's when you know that it's time to move on from what you're doing. It's time to do something else. When there's even an inkling of such an emotion, you know you've been in one place way too long and sticking around isn't doing anyone any good.
